Escape the hustle and bustle of your busy life and come and stay at our tranquil, private Guesthouse set on an acre of garden! If you are attending a wedding we are in a convenient location to all venues or just come relax and look around the area! The spacious guesthouse is perfect for a romantic getaway, attend a wedding, sightseeing or to sit by the peaceful lake. We are fortunate to have gaggles of friendly geese, herons, water fowl and parrots and the resident platypus is often seen at dusk. Guests have access to our entire gardens and outdoor entertainment areas. The spacious room has a kitchenette and en suite. We are generally present during your stay and can assist with any requests and we will go out of our way to ensure your stay is pleasurable. Maleny, and in particular where we are located is ideal as a base for exploring all the interesting cafes, shops and art galleries.The Maleny Dairies are opposite us and can provide coffee, scones, lunches and tours of the Dairy. There are many interesting nature walks in the area, the Mary Cairncross Park, Kondalilla Falls and The Glasshouse Mountains and Australia Zoo is just down the road! Maleny has many interesting restaurants for example Thai, Indian, Italian, German, Irish and Vegetarian options. Sunset walks gazing at the Jersey cows provide a relaxing end of the day prior to a drink by the lake! Local public transport is available around the Hinterland area and a bus service runs between Maleny and Landsborough where you can connect with a train South to Brisbane or North to the Sunshine Coast. The beaches at the Sunshine Coast are a 30 minute drive away. The Glasshouse Mountains panorama is within walking distance. Explore the townships of Montville, Witta and Reesville, Mapleton, Flaxton and Kenliworth where local markets are on regularly.
