About the Maleny Lake Cottages

The spacious Lake Cottages are perfect for a romantic getaway, attending a wedding, sightseeing or to sit by the peaceful lake. We are fortunate to have gaggles of friendly geese, herons, waterfowl and parrots and the resident platypus family is often seen at dusk.

Guests have access to our entire gardens and outdoor entertainment areas.

We are generally present during your stay and can assist with any requests and we will go out of our way to ensure your stay is pleasurable. We also respect your privacy and will leave you to enjoy yourselves without interruptions.

About Maleny

Maleny, and where we are located at 71 McCarthy Road is an ideal base for exploring all the interesting cafes, shops and art galleries as well as being close to numerous bush and forest walks. The Maleny Dairy are opposite us and can provide coffee, scones, lunches and tours of the Dairy.

There are many interesting nature walks in the area, the Mary Cairncross Park, Kondalilla Falls and The Glasshouse Mountains and Australia Zoo is just down the road! Maleny has many interesting restaurants for example Thai, Indian, Italian, German, Irish and Vegetarian options.

Sunset walks gazing at the Jersey cows provide a relaxing end of the day prior to a drink by the lake!

Getting around

Local public transport is available around the Hinterland area and a bus service runs between Maleny and Landsborough where you can connect with a train South to Brisbane or North to the Sunshine Coast.

The beaches at the Sunshine Coast are a 30 minute drive away.

The Glasshouse Mountains panorama is within walking distance. Explore the townships of Montville, Witta and Reesville where local markets are on regularly.
